Campaign
I was tasked to develop a Visual Identity System for Spotify Wrapped 2024: the visual system will be designed and used as a way to inform all campaign elements for the 2024 Spotify Wrapped Campaign. I had to use a combination of type, color, illustration, icons, and photography to develop your identity system. I had to create a three-screen Instagram campaign, a GIF of one of the screens, one billboard ad, and two additional advertising assets to further illustrate my Spotify Wrapped campaign concept.
Design Concept
The first thought that came to mind for the theme for my campaign was the '80s/'90s Taco Bell/movie theater carpet aesthetic (which is called Memphis, in case you didn't know) with a neon twist. I wanted it to feel like you were playing a retro game from the 90's with the bright neon colors and the fun squiggles and shapes. Having never seen a Spotify campaign of my own, I was a little lost on how they typically looked but after doing some research, I was able to grasp the concept. For my campaign, I chose from a list of my own favorite artists, then chose two to inspire the rest of my assets.
