Typography Hunt
We were tasked to research some "Old School" packaging and find one with typography we liked. We then had to research fonts that were similar, if not identical to the old school packaging and either remake the packaging or come up with something completely new, still staying true to the logo layout.
Design Concept
At first, I was inspired by a bunch of different packaging, but I felt like I was trying to play it safe by picking ones with simple typography that would be easy to find. The one I ended up choosing looked fun and challenging and I specifically liked the "A" and "B" in the logo and wanted to incorporate that into my redesign somehow.

My cat is named Azuki, which are little Japanese black beans, and beans made me think of coffee beans, thus, coming up with the product for my logo. I tried to stay as true to the original design as possible by playing with different shapes of both the logo and packaging designs.
